According to 9to5google, the latest version of the Anjo Canary Test (version 2512) already includes the function developed by Apple in collaboration with Google to streamline data migration between Ando and iPhone devices. The linkage agreement optimizes the cross-system data transfer experience, with two companies indicating that the functionality will be provided in the initial equipment setting process.
This improvement has been tested in Anjo Canary 2512 version of all Pixel equipment, and will be synchronized with the future iOS 26 test version. The migration function will continue to increase support for more data transfer types before official release. It should be recalled that neither the Andre Canary version nor the AndreiOS developer ‘ s test version is a stable version for ordinary users and may have performance problems. Google indicated that the functionality would eventually be integrated into the Android test version before publication. It is not clear how long this enhanced migration will last, and Android support will progress according to the equipment model. Until then, users would still have to rely on the “Move to iOS” application provided by Apple on the Android platform or the “Android Switch” application provided by Google on the iOS platform for data migration.
These two applications have limitations on the type of transportable data, which mainly support the transmission of photographs, videos, WhatsApp historical records, call records, calendars, text messages and mail accounts. Even so, the migration process remains unstable, and there may be problems of unreliable or excessive transmission. With Google working hand in hand with Apple, these problems are expected to be resolved in the future. Google and Apple did not specify what improvements would be made to optimize cross-platform equipment, but any improvements were expected in view of the current poor user experience.
